Tim Wentworth Sleeps Out for Homeless Teens
Sleeps Out for Homeless Teens
Every night in St. Louis, more than 2,500 teens sleep under a bridge, in an abandoned building or in other dangerous places. In many cases, these teens are threatened by their home situation and have no better option. It’s a choice no one should have to make.

Tim Wentworth, president, and his wife Robin serve as co-chairs of Sleep Out: Executive Edition at the Covenant House of Missouri. The Covenant House does more than just provide shelter to homeless teens; it creates a support network and, in many cases, a lifeline that helps teens get on a better path.

In late November, Tim, Robin and more than 20 other local executives slept outside with only a piece of cardboard and a sleeping bag to shelter them from the elements. It was one night for them to experience what some kids have to do every night while raising funds and awareness to support the Covenant House.

This year nearly $280,000 has been raised to empower young people to move from homelessness to independence. From each dollar that is given to Covenant House, 90 cents goes directly to youth in need.

Embracing Unique Abilities
disablity rights
We recently added another group to our lineup of employee resource groups (ERG): Expressing Possibilities, a disability-focused ERG. This new group is designed to welcome those with unique abilities and bring awareness and inclusion to everything we do.

In recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month and to celebrate the launch of Expressing Possibilities, America’s Disability Rights Museum on Wheels visited our headquarters in St. Louis for two days in October. This gave employees the opportunity to experience the history and future of the fight for equal rights by people with disabilities in the U.S.
